Wow, I'm just whipping out the posts this week.
So not! We've just had a lot of assignments. And this assignment is about the interplay of school and technology. Specifically using your phone and other portable gadgets to study/organize your life. Well, I am not one of the lucky ones to have an iphone or a blackberry or a droid. I have a simple little phone. It used to be super cool! I have a LG chocolate. Aaaand I don't really do anything but call or text message with it.
But! My phone does help me out with school. For one thing, I frequently mass text message my friends to find out what the homework assignment is. Also, my technologically savvy physics teacher sends out text message reminders about class meetings or free dress days. And most importantly, when my eyes are drooping and dozing off whilst studying biology is inevitable, I set an alarm on my bright blue LG chocolate. When I happen to rest my eyes for a second, I'll wake in an hour, rather than nine at night.
It may be lame, but it's my phone! I'm glad to have it as an alarm.

Bah! Who says your phone has to be "Smart" in order to be useful!
